AFI Summer Tour 2009 This year AFi brought something new, being the fusion of Western instruments into the more traditional AFI style. Performers House in Silkeborg was the main cooperation partner and AFI conducted a one week summercamp at Performers House with an intense level and progression of students within the African performing arts. Also Utamaduni camp and the come2gether camps at Danish Folkhighschools had AFI as their visitors.
AFI Denmark Summer Tour 2008 The tour was a mixed one, including a full programme with Givskud Zoo who wanted to present their focus on Africa in a different way. Also the Global Trade concert in Bornholm was one of the highlights and not at least AFI's participation at Utamaduni camp and moreover the tour throughout Northern Jutland.
AFI Denmark Summer Tour 2007 This tour had a special focus on the deaf society in Denmark and lasted for three months. The main partner was Fredericiaskolen, where AFI taught deaf children dancing on a weekly basis. The continous programme made it possible for the children to master African dancing and show, that 'disability is not inability'. AFI also won the trophy at Hamborg Altonale and at Ålborg carneval, only exambles of all the places where AFI perfomed with great success.
